Australia's First International Dispute Resolution Centre Opens
The Australian International Disputes Centre was officially opened on 3 August 2010 by the Australian Attorney General, the Hon Robert McClelland and the NSW State Attorney General, the Hon John Hatzistergos. Hosted by the Centre’s Chairman, the Hon Trevor Morling QC and the President of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, Doug Jones AM, the event was addressed by the Chief Executive of the Australian Industry Group, Mrs Heather Ridout in the presence of the Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia, the Hon Patrick Keane and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of NSW, the Hon James Spigelman AC and other distinguished guests.
