This intensive course in International Commercial Arbitration is offered over 9 days. Participants will be taught the practice of international commercial arbitration, including all major forms of arbitration and related dispute settling mechanisms such as WIPO and CIETAC. The Art of Facilitative Option Generation

This one day programme is intended for experienced practitioners and newly qualified mediators seeking to extend their knowledge, skill and understanding of facilitative option generation. Participants will explore and practice techniques in keeping with the facilitative mediation model as described in the Australian National Mediation Standards*.

Mediating Workplace Disputes

 

When workplace disputes arise, clever managers call in the mediators to help to bring their workplaces back on track.  It may be a case of ‘he said, she said’ that seems impossible to sort out; years of entrenched miscommunication may suddenly come to a head, or other work colleagues may declare they have had enough.  It may be that a formal grievance is put aside to see if mediation might have some benefit.
