As we bid farewell to 2023, I would like to extend my sincere thanks for your friendship, support, and participation in making 2023 such a successful year for ADC. All of you have contributed in so many ways.
I particularly recognise the immense contribution of our trainers and coaches and consultant neutrals to the important work of ADC. Our Associates and Interns are an inspiration to me every day as they keep the wheels turning with their diligence, enthusiasm, and innovative ideas. My warm thanks also to the ADC Board for their guidance and our Patron The Hon. Robert French AC for his unerring support. ADC’s successes reflect the collective effort, good will and unparalleled professionalism of the ADC family.
The end of the year is prime time to reflect on corporate achievements, as well as personal growth during the year. We hope that 2023 has also been a great year for you. As you reflect on your work and that of those around you, I encourage you to help us shine a light on your achievements and nominate in the Australian ADR Awards. This is an opportunity for the industry to celebrate excellence in the field. Submission forms for nominations are linked below and are open throughout December and January.
A reminder that ADC’s ever popular January mediation training and accreditation programme starts on 17 January. This is a brilliant time to focus on your professional development (before the year ramps up) and to hear from our special guest, eminent mediator, Ms Geri Ettinger.
With the Christmas and New Year festivities just around the corner, a reminder that the ADC office will be closed between the 22 December and 15 January.
From me and the entire ADC team, we wish you a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and a safe and serene summer holiday!
We look forward to seeing you early in 2024.
Warmest Regards,
Deborah Lockhart
